Basic Lasagna
2 cups Lasagna noodles
1 cup Ricotta cheese
1 pound ground beef
4 slices mozzarella cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce (with onions)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Pre-heat oven to 375°
Cook the noodles. Drain.
Arrange a layer of noodles in bottom of casserole dish. Spread half of the ricotta cheese on top. Sprinkle half of the ground beef on top. Place two cheese slices on top of the ground beef. Spread the sauce on top. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients (except the parmesan cheese).
Bake for 45 minutes.
Recipe can be doubled.
**A great variation to this recipe: use half-pound ground beef and half-pound mild sausage AND use a sauce which has onions
and mushrooms.
