I’ve added a new category to the side, Kitchen Decor. Decorating is a lot like putting your personality into your home - whether your personality is whimsical and offbeat, elegant, southern and sort of “country,” - or a little bit of each! My aunt, Penny, honestly works each of them into her decorating and has created a style all of her own. She’s always been my inspiration for decorating, because I like the idea of making your home YOUR HOME. When people look around, they should be able to tell that you live there even if you weren’t standing right there!
In our kitchen, we have a floral border, eggplant countertops and flowers - lots of flowers, and lots of deep purple. But when I see art prints, like the one above, I think how fun it’d be to have a kicky little kitchen theme that just wanted to have a good time.
The art print above brings a smile to the face and decorating couldn’t ask for more than that. Well, okay, that and a cup of Chai Tea.
