2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup molasses
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch salt
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup pecans
1 8″ unbaked pie shell

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add molasses, flour, vanilla and salt. Stir in water and pecans.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degreees for an additional 25 – 30 minutes.

Pecan pie is one of my all-time favorites, and this recipe is one of the best. It makes a great Christmas Day pie!
