Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

by Joi on August 4, 2006

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutions)
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
2 TBS brown sugar
3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cups finely chopped pecans

Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Form cream cheese mixture into a ball and refigerate for 1 hour.

Right before serving, roll the cheese ball in pecans.

You’ve really got to give this one a try – unless of course you’re against cream cheese, chocolate and pecans hooking up.
