by Joi on December 10, 2005

1 beef roast (1-3 pounds)
2 cans beef consomme
Garlic powder
1 medium onion
Salt and pepper
1 box Minute rice

Rub roast with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Position in your crock pot. Cut up onion and put on top of roast.

Pour beef consomme over roast and onions. Put the lid on and cook on low for 8 hours.

After the roast has cooked in your slow cooker all day, start preparing the rice:
Place the rice in a separate bowl and use the juice/onions from the roast (instead of the water called for in the directions on the box.)

Cook in microwave, according to the directions.
