Electric Yogurt Maker

I pretty much immerse myself in kitchen gadgets and gizmos everyday - either my own or those I wish were my own. Add the Donvier 1.5-qt. Electric Yogurt Maker
(above) to the latter. I don’t have one, yet…but one day, oh, one day….
I was browsing through a Gevalia catalog last night and saw a similar Electric Yogurt Maker - but it was quite a bit more expensive. So I got on line today and looked around for one that was as good but not as high.
Success!
Cooking.com has one for under $40.00 - less than everyplace else I checked.
From the manuracturer:
Make delicious yogurt the easy way with the Donvier electric yogurt maker. Using all-natural ingredients, this convenient device makes a total of 1.5-quarts (48-ounces) of light, creamy yogurt per batch. Electric timer has digital countdown display and automatic shutoff, with beeper sound at end of cycle. Features settings in half-hour increments, from 4 to 14 hours. Includes eight 6-oz.unbreakable, polycarbonate plastic jars, recipes and instructions.
A bowl of fresh yogurt with strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries mixed in and topped off with granola sounds like something I need in my day….right about now. When you make your own at home, it’s the absolute best - but, when that’s just not working for you, McDonald’s has a very, very good yogurt parfait.
