Garlic Twist

by Joi on January 10, 2006

I spent nearly 15 minutes last night peeling and dicing garlic gloves for our meal, and the whole time I was thinking, “There’s got to be a better way!” Afterwards, when I was slathering on my Bath & Body Works hand gel trying to get rid of the smell, I thought “Tomorrow, I’m finding a better way!” I love garlic, but I don’t want to smell like it.

The Garlic Twist above is from Improvements Catalog.com.

From the website:
Garlic Twist™ is as easy as it gets! Use the heavy bottom piece to crush, then peel, the clove. Then place the clove inside the Garlic Twist™ and twist back and forth until the teeth inside have minced it to your preferred texture; you’re in control! Minced garlic stays neatly collected, with no waste. Rinse to clean.

I’m sold. More to the point, a Garlic Twist was just sold!

Joi (who can go back to smelling girl-y and not garlic-y)

I appreciate your positive comments on our product the Garlic Twist. But I’d like to point out that the Garlic Twist can automatically gather minced garlic into two neat piles, unlike what is shown on your photo being in a mess. Please review the demo video on our web site to see how this is done. You’ll be thrilled …
