Ham on the Grill

by Joi on July 10, 2006

1 (5 - 6 pound) fully cooked, boneless, shankless ham half with natural juices
1/2 cup honey
2 Tbs. Heinz 57
1/2 tsp dry mustard
dash of pepper
dash of garlic powder

Stir together all of the ingredients - besides the ham, of course.

Place ham in a foil roasting pan. Pour half of the mixture over ham. Cover tightly with heavy foil.

Prepare the grill for indirect grilling You want to grill the ham over medium heat. Place the foil-wrapped ham on the grill, where it isn’t directly over coals. Cover and grill for 30 minutes - or until a meat thermometer registers 140 degrees.

Now, fold back the foil and grill for 10 more minutes. When you remove the ham from the grill, allow it to stand for about 15 minutes before you try to carve your nitch.

Serve with Cold German Potato Salad and/or Pretzel Salad. “And” works for me!
