Hawaiian Pie

by Joi on May 29, 2006

1 large can crushed pineapple
3 Tbs. cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1 can coconut
At least 1 cup pecans
3 bananas

Combine pineapple, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook until thick. Set aside to cool.

Slice bananas and line the bottom of a baked pie shell. Spread coconut over bananas. Put layer of pecans on the coconut.

Pour pineapple mixture over the whole shebang. Chill and cover with whipped topping.

Oh, go ahead, sprinkle more pecans on top of the whipped topping - I insist!
