Is Your Kitchen Ready for Thanksgiving?

by Joi on November 8, 2006

It would be an understatement to say that I get totally amped for the holidays. Always do – Always have – Always will. I guess some families take them is stride, but mine has always gone all out…… completely ape, even. And a great, great deal of the holidays revolves around the kitchen and around the food. Starting right after Halloween, my girls and I start planning the Thanksgiving meal – will the Turkey be roasted, deep-fried, or smoked??? What casseroles will join the Green Bean Casserole??? Will the corn be off the cob or on??? Will we have homemade sourdough bread, Angel Rolls, Croissants, or Buttermilk Biscuits??? And, desserts! How many will there be and will the Sweet Potato Pie have walnuts on top or not???

A few of those questions are still floating around the house, but one thing I know is I need more pans! I found a great deal on Thanksgiving-Friendly pans at Linens ‘ Things….as well as a that I may not exactly need but absolutely would NOT mind having!

The Stainless Steel Oval Roaster, the Stainless Steel Rectangular Roaster, the 4 Quart Stainless Steel Chafing Dish, the Gourmet Buffet Oven to Table Chafing Dish, and the Gourmet Buffet 6 Quart Coffee Urn are each AMAZINGLY under $20.oo.

Something else you have to love: Linens ‘n Things offers Free Shipping for everything in their Thanksgiving Department. Guess they’re in the holiday spirit too!
