Paula Deen’s Baked Beans

by Joi on July 18, 2006

2 42-oz cans pork and beans, drained
1 10-oz can barbecue pork
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
2 TBS liquid smoke
2 TBS mustard

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease your favorite baking dish.

Combine all ingredients, pour into your dish and bake for 45-50 minutes.

These make better beans than you can get in a restaurant!! The recipe is fromt the July/August issue of Cooking with Paula Deen. It’s full of recipes (60!) that summer wouldn’t be summer without. It’s one of her best issues yet - - - - but they’re all great.

I honestly recommend the mag and the recipes.
