Peanut Butter Bon Bons

by Joi on October 24, 2006

1 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup Graham Cracker crumbs
2 sticks melted margarine
2-1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1/3 stick paraffin
12 oz. pkg. Butterscotch chips

Mix the first six ingredients. Chill.

Form the dough into balls. Melt the stick of paraffin in top of a double boiler (Or one saucepan over one that’s 1/2 full with boiling water). Mix in a 12 oz. pkg. of Butterscotch chips. Dip balls into the paraffin and place on waxed paper to set.

We’re in the home stretch to Halloween - I hope you’re having as much fun with it as you can. If not….start now! Make up a great batch of candy, popcorn, cookies….or all 3 - then rent a horror movie, grab someone to watch it with you, turn off the lights and eat, scream, and have fun.

If you’re looking for a real sream - and lots of them - you can’t miss with “The Hills Have Eyes,” “Silence of the Lambs,” and “Scream.” All the old, campy dracula movies are pretty fun, too. I’m afraid that Frankenstein never did anything for me - he was thisclose to being a bore.

Have fun!
Joi
