Adorable Salt and Pepper Shakers (Brace Yourself, Owl Collectors)

January 2, 2014 By Joi Sigers

Cute Owl Salt and Pepper Shakers

My youngest daughter (Stephany) inherited an insane love of owls from my mother. I’d hate to even try to count the number of owls in her collection. There are owl necklaces, books, calendars, statues, dishes, figurines, lamps… the list goes on forever. I’m pretty sure she’ll want to add these cuties as soon as she sees them.

These are the Cute owl salt and pepper shakers (available on Amazon).  Click through for more information.  So cute!

Owl Crock Pot

Also on Amazon: Owl Themed Oval Crock Pot Slow Cooker – 4 Quart (Pictured Above). Words can’t even describe how adorable this crock pot is. Click through for a closer look. LOVE this!

Wizard of Oz Salt and Pepper Shakers

March 21, 2012 By Joi Sigers

Wizard of Oz Salt Pepper ShakersThe first fears I ever remember having were:

  • The apes in Planet of the Apes
  • The Wicked Witch
  • A Bozo the Clown Doll (I swear he was evil)

I’d watch re-runs of Planet of the Apes and Wizard of Oz with my parents any time they were on, but the first time the Apes showed up on horseback got me every time. As for the green witch, she was the stuff nightmares were made of.  I recently saw a little bit of Wizard of Oz and, sure enough, the sight of the witch still made me squirm.  The actress nailed “evil” so perfectly, I kind of worry about her.

And her family.

The Wizard of Oz is just such a classic, we all have great memories.  I think that’s why collectibles from the movie are so wildly popular. If you’re a collector of classic movie memorabilia or a salt & pepper collector, you might want to check out the , shown above.

Just look at how she’s holding her hands… to say nothing of the eyebrows. I tell you, she’s bad news.  She had cool monkeys, though.
