There are some things in life that are irresistible to me – animals, coffee, chocolate…. they’re some of the prime suspects. I’m also a sucker for handbags and totes. I have actually collected handbags for over 10 years and I’ve recently begun collecting totes. I love the idea of carrying my totes to the store and sneering at the plastic bags when my full (environment and animal friendly) tote and I walk past them.
Totes are also fantastic for carrying snacks, books, first aid necessities, and so forth to the lake for the day – or on long car trips. It beats the heck out of being away from home and needing something or stuffing my poor unsuspecting purse beyond its capacity. And it looks a heckuva lot classier than vile little plastic bags filled with things.
Another thing I’m a huge, huge fan of are family-owned and family-operated businesses. These mom/pop and parent/child businesses catch my eye, heart, and loyalty every single time – if, that is, they’re good at what they do.
Suffice to say I’m thrilled to tell you about this family-owned business today! They make, among other things, handbags and totes. What?! I’m so on board for this!
