Tea Addicts, Look Alive!

Somewhere along the line, I became as bewitched by tea as I am coffee. Believe me, that’s saying something big time.
Whether it’s my favorite hot special-tea, Chai Tea, or the sexy new bottled teas, I’m as apt to be found sipping tea as coffee. More likely, however, it’ll be as it is now - a mug of coffee alongside a glass or bottle of tea.
I don’t sleep a lot.
I noticed that on the late $40 a Day tonight, Rachael is headed to Washington, D.C. One of the scheduled menu items is “Teaism Chai.” I did my homework and found the Website for this Tea Shop.
They have a very impressive line of teas for sale, as well as a few other delicious-sounding items. For example, they have something called “Teaism Granola” - homemade granola that’s a blend of oats, pecans, coconut, apricot, raisins, dried blueberries, honey, maple syrup and spices. It comes packaged in a black tin, ready to delight your every taste bud. I’m all for that - my taste buds love to be delighted.
They also have a Ginger Scone Mix lets you mix up a batch of their, aparently, very popular scones. I can’t say that I’ve ever had a Ginger Scone, but it sounds like a perfect companion to a big mug of Chai Tea.
Of course, they have teas of every type, teapots, whisks, tea makers, brew-in-mugs, and quite frankly a few things I’d never even heard of before. Watch for them tonight and check their website out in the meantime!
I’m going to go rouse up my teenager and hit up our local Starbuck’s. There’s a Chai Tea calling me, and I’m sure there’s a Vanilla Bean with her name on it. Literally.
Hope your day’s full of smiles and laughs!
Joi
