The Amazing Reynold Handi-Vac Vacuum Sealer Made Me a Believer!

by Joi on November 13, 2007

I’ve got a new to-y! I’ve got a new to-y!

Well, that was mature - except for the part where it wasn’t.

I got the new Reynold Handi-Vac Vacuum Sealer and, of course -like all kids with a new toy - had to try it out right away. Fortunately, my husband had made some of his impossibly delicious grilled chicken the day I got my to-y, so I was set. My daughter, Brittany, and I cleared off the table and corralled the leftover chicken breasts. We place one in each of the designated bags and slllllurrrrppped the air out out of each with the way cool vacuum sealer. We put them into the freezer and gave them the obligatory, “We’ll see you soon.” I even waxed corny by telling them to keep their cool.

Yeah, Brittany groaned, too.

I let a few weeks go by - just to really test the little guy - then brought the frozen breasts out to thaw.

After they thawed in the microwave, I heated them a little in a low-heat oven then sliced them into strips. I couldn’t wait any longer, I had to taste one. Amazing! Honestly, it was as delicious as the day the hubby grilled them. No freezer burn and no, “Hey, this isn’t fresh -it was frozen!” taste. I was honestly amazed - I generally never freeze anything. For one thing, we have a large family so we seldom have any leftovers. When we do, they aren’t leftover for long!

For another thing, I don’t like the attitude foods get after they’ve been frozen. UNTIL NOW, that is. The chicken was as good after “chilling out” as it was before. Now I’m a believer.

I took the chicken strips and made a killer taco salad with them - with lettuce, Mexican white crumbling cheese, red beans, shredded cheddar, green onions, tomatoes, black olives, and cilantro. Then I served them in tortillas that were molded into serving bowls. They were one of the biggest hits in a long time. We all ate like there’d be no tomorrow.

Try the Reynold Handi-Vac Vacuum Sealer as soon as you can. The Holidays are almost here and you know you’ll be freezing a lot - the Reynold Handi-Vac Vacuum Sealer will allow you to do so with no freezer burns and no funny freezer taste. These would also be a God send for those of you who I always see in Sam’s buying in bulk. If you visit the Product’s Website, you’ll find more information as well as tips and even recipes - like Chicken with Rainbow Peppers - I have a date with it next week!

I recommend the Reynold’s Handi-Vac Vacuum Sealer and bags as highly as I do Starbucks.

Yes, as a matter of fact, that is the top floor in my recommendation building.
