Wake Up, Little Sushi

by Joi on September 21, 2007

Have you ever eaten sushi? You might want to give it a try if you haven’t. If you have and hated it, try again!

The Japanese eat a great deal of fish, vegetables, and tofu. Their healthy diet has a lot to do with their health, obviously.

Japanes women, for example, live an average of 85.56 years. Experts who know a great deal more than I do tell us that Phytoestrogens in tofu may protect the heart AND help prevent cancer. PLUS, the omega-3 fatty acids in fish work all kinds of magic in the body - especially in the mind and heart. Two places we’re all pretty invested in, right?!?!

The beautiful, beautiful, beautiful young lady at the top of the post (and in the pics below) is Koji-Yakusho. The Japanese actress is co-starring alongside the also beautiful Keira Knightley in the new movie, SILK. (Poor, poor leading actor - James Mcavoy. How he’s suffering for his craft. )

Sure, I could have posted pics of Sushi - but Koji is so lovely! Click each pic below to see larger…unless, of course, your name is MY HUSBAND - then you turn right around and go back to your ESPN website. Forget you even saw Koji…

Have a great weekend!

Joi-
Koji Yakusho is a man. The actress in the photo is Sei Ashina.

Thanks, Daria! You are so right - the beautiful lady is Sei Ashina, decidedly not Koji Yakusho. When I found the pictures in one of my “Image Accounts,” they had her listed as Koji Yakusho. But when I searched the name, I found pictures of this actress as well as an actor.

So I kept searching. THREE different Image accounts listed her as Koji Yakusho. So, I went with that - I had no other name whatsoever!

Thanks SO MUCH for letting me know. If there’s one thing this girl isn’t…it’s a man!

Thanks and have a great, great day! - Joi
