Classic White Bread:
(For unforgettable toast!)
2 packages active dry yeast
2 cups warm water (110 degrees-115 degrees)
1/2 cup sugar + plus Tablespoon
1 Tbs. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup vegetable oil
6-7 cups All-Purpose flour
Dissolve yeast in warm water (in a large bowl). Add sugar, salt, eggs, oil, and 3 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough of the remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface an knead for about 7 minutes (until smooth and elastic).
