4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 Tbs sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
One-eighth tsp. salt
French bread (1" thick slices)
Grease griddle with a little margarine and pre-heat to 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Beat the first five ingredients with fork or wire wisk. Dip bread slices into egg mixture. Cook about 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and serve with syrup.
