Peanut Butter Candy:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white syrup
1 cup raw peanuts
Pinch of salt
Combine and cook over low heat until the peanuts start to pop. Stir constantly.
Remove from heat. Add 1/2 tsp. baking soda.
Stir vigorously and pour into buttered 9" pound pan. Let cool, then break into pieces.
