Peanut Butter Cookies:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
½ cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
2-1/2 cups Self-Rising Flour, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream sugar, syrup, and shortening. Add eggs and peanut butter. Add flour and vanilla. Roll into small balls (about 2".)
Place balls onto greased cookie sheet abaout 2" apart. Flatten each with a fork dipped in granulated sugar, making crisscross patterns. Bake for 10 minutes.
