Banana Nut Bread

1¼ cups flour
½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed very well
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
½ cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
1 tsp. vanilla

Pre-heat oven to 350°

Cream flour, shortening and sugar together. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Stir in vanilla and sugar. Add nuts. Bake for 1 hour.
