Crunchy Fried Fish
1 ½ cups - 2 cups instant mashed potato flakes
2 Tablespoons sesame seeds
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds fish fillets
½ cup shortening
lemon wedges
Combine fillets and sesame seeds. Set aside.
Combine egg, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix well. Cip fish in egg mixture then cover with dry mixture.
Melt shortening in a large skillet over medium heat; fry fish in shortening until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with lemon wedges.
