Mega Post of Rachael Ray Dishes, Bakeware, and More

December 18, 2014 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray Ramekins Set
I’ll admit to a couple of full-blown obsessions in my life:

  • cats
  • polar bears
  • squirrels
  • okay, all animals
  • baseball
  • chai tea lattes
  • coffee
  • chocolate
  • sweet potatoes

Also making the list is Rachael Ray dishes, bakeware, pans, kitchen gadgets… all things Rachael Ray.  I’ve noticed that I’ve begun projecting my obsession onto others.  Not only am I forever telling you about Rachael Ray products you “simply must have…” I’ve started factoring them into my gift-giving.   “Oooh, I should give her a Rachael Ray platter…” “I want to give them a Rachael Ray set of dishes…”

Sigh. I mean well.

It’s just that when you KNOW something is exceptional, you want everyone else to experience it, too.  Trust your girl on this one, if Rachael Ray’s name is on the front of the box, your kitchen will be all the better for it.

Rachael Ray 10
Rachael Ray’s line of beauties come in a gorgeous array of colors. They’ve even added a few colors recently – including a light blue that’s perfect for my oldest daughter’s kitchen. As a matter of fact, yes, I’m trying to snag a billion and one things for her.

Personally, I tend to favor the reds, purples, and deep blues in our kitchen, but I’d certainly never say, “No” to the orange, green, pumpkin, or light blue.

They’re all welcome.

If your kitchen and world of cooking is anything similar to mine – it’s the essence of busyness. At times my kitchen seems like an episode of Iron Chef America. Other times it’s closer to a carnival – but it’s always an aromatic cluster of making, baking, and cleaning it all up.

Rachael Ray Cucina 12 Piece Cookware Set
With all of that going on, dishes and bakeware get chipped, cracked, and sometimes downright shattered.

For whatever reasons (I suspect unicorns may be involved), Rachael Ray dishes and bakeware hold up to whatever my kitchen throws at them.

Is it any reason I’m so obsessed. The fewer things I have to actually replace, the better.

Not only is every item in my Rachael Ray collection sturdy, it performs to absolute perfection. Seriously, I’ve never had a single issue.

Finally, can I just go all girly here and say that one of my favorite things about collecting Rachael Ray dishes, cookware, and bakeware is the colorful prettiness? They’re simply brighter and more beautiful than the rest and, yes…. sometimes looks truly do matter.

Rachael Ray Rise Serving Bowl
As we come to the end of one year and the start of another, I’d love to suggest one thing: Begin your own collection of Rachael Ray merch. Either find the one or two colors that “speak” to you, or go full spectrum and grab every available color. Whichever way you go, you’ll soon be singing the same praises I am.

To everyone who’ll listen…

Kitchen Gadget of the Day: Rachael Ray Egg Whisk “Sir Whisk a Lot”

October 12, 2013 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray Tools Egg Whisk "Sir Whisk a Lot", Orange

If I keep going at the rate I’m going, I will eventually have every kitchen gadget, cookbook, and cooking tool Rachael Ray has ever made. I don’t have any of her pans, yet, but I’m all over the gadgets and cookbooks.

Well, almost all over. It comes to my attention that I don’t have the great looking Rachael Ray Tools Egg Whisk “Sir Whisk a Lot”, Orange. How could something like this happen???

  • Classic round egg whisk whips up egg whites into fluffy goodness
  • Specially designed handle with sturdy base can stand up on your counter
  • Metal whisk element
  • Bright orange coloring won’t get lost in the kitchen!
  • Dishwasher safe

Love it, need it, simply must have it.

Rachael Ray Fancy Boy Grinders: 24/7 Seasoning and Pink Himalayan Salt

April 23, 2013 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray Fancy Boys Grinders

So there I was shopping in my local Kroger recently, minding my own business.  I was in the spice aisle, grabbing a box of baking soda (something I’m almost always low on) when a couple of colorful orange topped grinders on the top shelf caught my eye.

Right away, without even seeing the picture or name on the front, I knew they were Rachael Ray. As you may know, if you read the food blog regularly, I’m a HUGE fan of all things Rachael Ray – so it only makes sense that my radar would go off.

Naturally they both went immediately into the cart.

One of my new found treasures is the Rachael Ray’s 24/7 Seasoning Grinder (on the left in the picture above). The other is the especially lovely Rachael Ray Pink Himalayan Salt Grinder.  I have used them religiously since first bringing them home and absolutely swear by them.  They add so much flavor and personality to everything and, at the risk of sounding insanely girly, they look sooooooo pretty sitting on the counter.

I just have to point that out – besides, I’m a girly girl, what do I care if I sound girly?!?!

I’ve seen these two particular grinders in several stores around town, and I just assumed that’s all there were.

Boy was I wrong.

A quick search on Amazon turned up SCADS of these beautiful Rachael Ray Fancy Boy Grinders and yes, as a matter of fact, I must have each and every one. Check them out in the slideshow below – click through any that catch your eye.

If the slideshow doesn’t show up for you, simply click the following link: Rachael Ray Fancy Boy Grinders.

You are absolutely going to love these grinders.

Dear Rachael Ray Little Hoot & Snowman Dessert Plates, I Love You

November 17, 2012 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray Dessert Plates

The adorable Christmas dishes above are the Rachael Ray Set of 4 Little Hoot & Snowman Dessert Plates from The Food Network. When I first saw them, I believe my exact words were, “Mus have. Must, must, must have.”

Fortunately the whole set is only $20, because when something makes me throw around the “must”s like that, it’s as good as on its way.

These 4 dessert plates are 8” and ready and willing to serve up your cookies, pies, cakes, and candies beautifully.  I love the fact that, while they’re perfectly suited for Christmas, they could be enjoyed all winter long.   That’s why I was relieved there weren’t any elves or Santas lurking around. It’s almost impossible to explain them away when February rolls around.

See Rachael Ray Set of 4 Little Hoot & Snowman Dessert Plates for more information and to check out the other great plates, gadgets, etc. for the holidays and beyond.

Owls in the Kitchen: Beautiful Gift Ideas for Collectors

October 23, 2012 By Joi Sigers

Owl Measuring Cups

Whether you, yourself, collect owls in your kitchen or you’re shopping for an owl collector, the owl decorations and gifts in this post should make gift shopping as easy as a hoot.

I have close, close experience with owl collectors.  My mom collected owls for as long as I can remember and my youngest daughter (Stephany) is carrying on the tradition. Don’t you love it when people are collectors, it makes gift buying so much easier!

The Boston Warehouse Snowy Owls Measuring Cup Set, Set of 4 at the top of the post are so adorable, even people who don’t collect owls would want them. These colorful beauties are made from hand painted earthenware.

The owl measuring cups (so cute with their little scarves) have matching Boston Warehouse Snowy Owls Measuring Spoon Set, Set of 4 available on Amazon as well.

I may be on the brink of becoming an owl collector, myself, because I want the Owl Bird Measuring Cups / Bowls for Baking, Set of 4, Ceramic pictured below too!

These ceramic owl measuring cups have matching Owl Bird Measuring Spoon Baking Set with Display Rack / Holder, Ceramic (Pictured below the measuring cups).  The fact that they come with their own little display stand makes me love them even more.  No searching around in drawers for them when I need them the most!

Owl Measuring Spoons

The Tag Turning Leaves Collection Owl Salt and Pepper below are just $14 on Amazon. That’s a great price for such cuties.  I DO collect salt & pepper shakers, so these are a must buy for me.  Must buy,  must have.

Owl Salt and Pepper ShakersSeriously, how adorable are these owl salt and pepper shakers? Look at those faces!

Owl Appetizer Plates

The gorgeous Owl-Shaped Appetizer Plate (Set of 4) (above) are also so gorgeous even non-collectors would want them. These Earthenware appetizer plates are microwave and dishwasher safe.

Owl Kitchen Towels, Oven Mitts, and Pot Holders:

Last, but far from least, the Rachael Ray Dinnerware Little Hoot 16-Piece Dinnerware Set (below). Talk about a super nice gift! Not only is this an exceptionally beautiful and well-made set of dishes, it carries Rachael Ray’s name on the box. My Next Rachael Ray Kitchen Tool Will Be –

December 20, 2011 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray 2 Piece Lil' HuggersTongs SetI have to confess, every time I see a beautiful, colorful Rachael Ray dish, kitchen gadget or cooking tool, I automatically think two words, “Need that.” So when I saw the Rachael Ray 2-Piece Lil’ Huggers Tong Set Cookware Sets (in blue or orange) shown here, the words automatically popped into my head.

Except this time they were followed by exclamation marks because, this time, it isn’t just a strong want – it is a certifiable need.

My husband was cooking pork chops a few nights ago (and, boy, were they delicious!) and he asked me where my tongs were. Sheepishly, I drug them out of the kitchen tool drawer. They’ve become pretty homely over the years. I made a point, then, to shop for a new pair. My first move was to search for a pair on Amazon, along with the name Rachael Ray. I was certain she had some in her collection.

Success! I found that she didn’t just have one, but had a thongs set (the ones you see here).

I have never bought or received anything from the Rachael Ray collection that wasn’t’ absolute perfection.  Anything she puts her name on is first class and anything she puts her name on will, eventually, wind up in my kitchen.  I take a lot of pride and care in my cooking, so I only want the best of the best in my kitchen. Rachael Ray casserole dishes, pans, cooking tools, towels, cookbooks, and kitchen gadgets are the very essence of best of the best.

Her Oval Bubble & Brown Baker Set is just one of the things I wonder how I ever lived without.
Product Description: The 2-Piece Lil’ Huggers Tong Set is a must-have when using nonstick cookware. 2-Piece set includes: 1 x 9 Lil’ Hugger 1 x 12 Lil’ Hugger ; Grippy Rachael Ray 2-Piece Lil' Huggers Tong Set Cookware Sets - Blue spoon-shaped ends are great for stir frying, grabbing corn cobs, tossing salad and turning hot chicken wings. Locking hinge makes grasping varying sizes of food easy. Silicone heads and handles are heat safe to 500°F. Dishwasher safe.

I LOVE that the heads and handles are silicone!  I just can’t make up my mind if I want blue or orange. Oh, decisions… decisions….

See Rachael Ray 2-Piece Lil’ Huggers Tong Set Cookware Sets – Blue for a closer look.

Why You NEED the Rachael Ray Stoneware (Review)

October 17, 2011 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray Bakeware

For my recent birthday, my husband gave me the Rachael Ray Stoneware 1-Quart and 1-1/2-Quart Oval Bubble & Brown Baker Set, Red shown above. He knows I love, love, love Rachael Ray cookware, bakeware, cookbooks…. okay, Rachael Ray anything. I’d seen these beauties online but I was delighted to see that they’re even more beautiful in person.

The first thing I used mine for was Spinach Artichoke Dip.  They’re also ideal for potato casserole, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, baked spaghetti, chicken casserole, etc. I LOVE that they make your food even more beautiful and the handles are simply a stroke of genius.

Product Features

  • Multiple Use Stoneware – Dishwasher, microwave, freezer safe and oven safe to 500-Degree F for convenience and versatility; The glazed interior is nonporous so foods won’t interact
  • Contemporary Design – Contemporary, playful shape in a vibrant and fun color goes directly from oven to table
  • Wide Handles – Extra wide handle holes allow you to get a good grip from any angle
  • Easy Storage – Both items conveniently nest together to save space in your cupboard

I have mine sitting out on a baker’s rack because they’re too beautiful to hide in the cupboard.  These gorgeous stoneware casserole dishes come in a variety of beautiful, vivid colors.  I wanted red first because I go primarily with the colors red, purple, black, and white in our kitchen. Also, how beautiful will they be at Christmas?!

Make no mistake about it, though, I want all the colors! The orange and yellow dishes would be stunning on a Thanksgiving table but they’re also summer-y too.  You can’t go wrong with any of them. I love the personality of Rachael Ray cookware and bakeware.  They’re bright, colorful, playful, and refuse to take life too seriously.  Put these at the top of your Christmas wish list.  No, scratch that…. buy them for yourself today.  They’ll add even more color and beauty to the holidays that are just around the corner!

Take a closer look at these beauties: Rachael Ray Stoneware 1-Quart and 1-1/2-Quart Oval Bubble & Brown Baker Set, Red

Outside-In Bacon Cheeseburgers with Green Onion Mayo

September 10, 2011 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray Cookbook: Top 30 Guy Foods

I have quite a few Rachael Ray Cookbooks in my cookbook collection.  She’s a favorite TV Personality and cookbook author, so if her name’s on it, I’m not just “in,” I’m “all in.”

The cookbook pictured above is just one of my favorites.

Guy Food: Rachael Ray’s Top 30 30-Minute Meals is filled with recipes you’ll use again and again – the Outside-In Bacon Cheeseburgers (with HEAVENLY Green Onion Mayo) are a classic example of what this cookbook’s personality.

Outside-In Bacon Cheeseburgers with Green Onion Mayo – by Rachael Ray

5 slices bacon, chopped
4 scallions, cleaned and trimmed
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
1 1/3 pounds ground beef sirloin
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it
1 tablespoon steak seasoning blend or coarse salt and black pepper
1/2 pound extra sharp white cheddar cheese, crumbled
1 cup mayonnaise or reduced fat mayonnaise
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper
4 crusty Kaiser rolls, split
4 leaves crisp romaine lettuce

Preheat grill pan over high heat.

In a medium pan brown bacon over medium high heat and drain on paper towel lined plate.

Brush scallions with a little oil and grill on hot grill pan 2 or 3 minutes on each side. Remove from heat to cool.

Combine ground beef with Worcestershire and steak seasoning or salt and pepper. Divide meat into 4 equal parts. Combine cheese crumbles and cooked bacon. Take 1/4 of the meat in your hand and make a well in the center of it. Pile in cheese and bacon, then carefully form the burger around the cheese and bacon filling. Make sure the fillings are completely covered with meat. When all 4 patties are formed, drizzle burgers with oil and place on hot grill pan. Cook 2 minutes on each side over high heat, reduce heat to medium low and cook burgers 7 or 8 minutes longer, turning occasionally. Do not press down on burgers as they cook. Transfer burgers to a plate and let them rest 5 minutes before serving.

Chop cooled, grilled green onions and add to a food processor. Add mayonnaise and cumin to the food processor and pulse the onions and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper, to your taste.

Pile burgers on crusty buns and top with crisp lettuce leaves and a slather of green onion mayonnaise. As you bite into the burgers, you will find a smoky, cheesy surprise at the center.

Below are just a few of the other recipes in this great little cookbook:

  • There’s a very manly chili recipe with some surprising ingredients that will be tried in this very kitchen this week!
  • Blackened Chicken Pizza
  • A recipe for Mahi-Mahi Fillets, grilled
  • Tenderloin Steaks with Gorgonzola and Roasted Potatoes with Rosemary
  • If you or your guy (or kids! – they always love them) have a thing for chicken tenders, there’s a recipe for pecan-crusted chicken tenders you’ll flip for
  • Cheddar and Chive Bread
  • Corn on the Cob with Chili and Lime
  • Grilled Halibut Tacos with Guacamole Sauce
  • A lot more!

If you love great food, and especially if you have a guy you love to cook for, you’ll want to grab a copy of Guy Food: Rachael Ray’s Top 30 30-Minute Meals right away. It’s just a little over $10 and these are recipes you’ll use all year long.

Goji Gourmet Goji Berry Cookies

January 12, 2011 By Joi Sigers

Goji Berry Cherry Cacao CookiesGoji Gourmet Goji Cherry Cacao Cookies

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing some extra-unique, extra-wholesome, and extraordinary cookies. They’re Goji Gourmet’s Goji Berry Cookies and they’re as ingenious as they are delicious.  They’re small, soft, and absolutely scrumptious.  They’re perfect for kids or adults – basically anyone who has a sweet tooth they want to satisfy while staying on the healthy side of the dietary fence.

The Wholesomeness:

No preservatives
All-natural
No refined sugar added
High in antioxidants
Delicious
Low calorie
Handmade
Infused with Superfoods
Energizing
Great for kids
Mostly organic ingredients

The Varieties:

Goji Almond Oat
Goji Chocolate Chip
Goji Cherry Cacao
Goji Ginger Walnut
Goji Orange MintChip

What You Need to Know:

  • These cookies were featured on the Rachael Ray Show as snack of the day
  • Four of these little cookies take the edge off a sweet tooth better than any 10-calorie pack (Health.com)
  • Goji Berries have 8 times more antioxidants than pomegranates and 10 times more than blueberries. They have more iron than spinach or steak and 500 times more vitamin C, by weight, than oranges.
  • Goji Berries are rich in potassium, protein, and have 18 amino acids.
  • Goji Berries are loaded with magnesium, vitamins B1, B2, B6, and vitamin E.
  • Goji Berries are a natural aphrodisiac!

Visit Goji Gourmet for more nutritional information and order your own guilt-free cookies today!

Goji Almond Oat CookiesI loved each variety but if I had to put them in order of my preference, they’d read like this: Goji Almond Oat (I absolutely cannot stay out of these cookies), the Goji Orange MintChip, the Goji Chocolate Chip, the Goji Cherry Cacao, and the Goji Ginger Walnut.

The Goji Almond Oat Cookies are addictive – they should come with a warning label saying as much.  I’m also totally hooked on the Goji Orange MintChip cookies.  The only way to describe them is to say they taste like Christmas would taste if it had a flavor.  The citrus of the orange reminds me of the fruit baskets that are always around the house during the Holidays and the mint makes me think of candy canes.

So, there you have it. They taste like Christmas.

The Goji Cherry Cacao and Goji Chocolate Chip cookies love to be dunked in milk.  They’re super with Rice Milk (a personal favorite).

The Goji Ginger Walnut cookies may come in last in my list but don’t think they aren’t special – ginger just isn’t one of my favorite flavors for some reason.  I LOVE the smell of ginger, but Goji Chocolate Chip Cookiesthe flavor always leaves me scratching my head.  My daughters FLIPPED for this variety though.

Just as well, it frees me up to concentrate on the rest of the gang.  And by concentrate I mean gobble.  If you (like me) have healthier eating in mind for 2011, but have no intention of compromising on flavor and food enjoyment, these are cookies you’ll want to try. They’re wholesome, delicious, nutritious, and perfect for kids of all ages.

They’re ideal to pop into lunch boxes too.

Kitchen Tools of the Day From Rachael Ray

November 22, 2010 By Joi Sigers

Rachael Ray 2-pc. Nylon Tools Lazy Spoon and Ladle Set, Red

Not only am I a M-A-J-O-R Food Network and Cooking Channel fanatic, I’m a die-hard fan of many of the celebrity chef and cook’s cookbooks and products. A quick tour of our kitchen is the only proof you need. You’ll find Paula Deen, Emeril, Nigella Lawson, and Rachael Ray cookbooks (among countless others) as well as Paula Deen, Jamie Oliver, Rachael Ray and Giada De Laurentiis products. I’ve said it a million times, if one of these names is on the product, you’d do well to buy several.

The beautiful Rachael Ray 2-pc. Nylon Tools Lazy Spoon and Ladle Set, Red you see above is yet another example. These high-quality, built to last, and handsome kitchen tools are available online at Cooking.com.

Rachael Ray Blue Lazy Spoon and Ladle Set:

Super clever and convenient, Rachael Ray has made Jonathan’s Lazy Spoons colorful and dishwasher safe! These clever tools are notched to rest on your pot’s edge so drips stay in the pan, not on your countertop. Made of comfortable silicone, they are heat safe up to 500 degrees. Includes the Lazy Spoon and Lazy Ladle.

These must-have spoons are available in colors as bright and colorful as Rachael Ray, herself. I love how all of her kitchen tools, gadgets, pans, towels, and dishes color coordinate. They make your kitchen a more colorful and fun place to be.

Click through the color of your choice to read more!

Rachael Ray 2-pc. Nylon Tools Lazy Spoon and Ladle Set, Green

Rachael Ray 2-pc. Nylon Tools Lazy Spoon and Ladle Set, Orange

Rachael Ray 2-pc. Nylon Tools Lazy Spoon and Ladle Set, Blue

Pretty much, I want them all – each time I think I’ve decided on one particular color, I change my mind.  It’s how I roll… much to my husband’s chagrin.
