Starbucks has something super cool going on right now. They call it Monday Moments and here’s what it can mean for you! Monday Moments is a celebration of their wonderful new product: Frappuccino Light.
The Frappuccino Light comes in Vanilla and Mocha and, as I said in my last post – they are outstanding.
Monday Moments are taking the time to simply embrace life and all that it offers. It’s about taking time for yourself, doing what makes you happy and puts you at peace with the world.
See the beauty at the top of the post? That’s my girl, Alexa. During Mondays, my husband is at work and my girls are either in classes (Emily and Brittany) or sleeping in (Stephany!). It’s just me and Alexa for most of the day. I love what I do (web publishing) and am blessed to be able to work from home. However, during the afternoon – usually right after lunch – I love to just lose myself in the precious company of a cat who I love dearly. We lie in the floor and either read for about 20-30 minutes (well, I read, she just pretends to) or watch an episode of I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, Roseanne, or Sanford and Son. In the picture above, she’s actually between me and the computer screen, letting me know that it’s time to knock off for our special 30 minutes.
Nothing in the world gets done in those 30 minutes. No laundry, no dishes, no shopping, and no cooking. None of my 16 sites/blogs are updated or managed. E-mail isn’t answered, research isn’t done, and social media and seo aren’t even thought about. Each one of these 30 minutes are mine and mine alone. I grab my bottle of Frappuccino (or a brewed cup of Starbucks coffee if it’s chilly) and Alexa and I head off to paradise.
If you don’t already have a 30 minute escape hatch in your day, I beg you to find one and use it daily. Keeps one peaceful. Keeps one happy. Keeps one sane.
For a limited time, commentators to this post will be eligible to receive samples of these Light Starbucks fraps and a coupon, just as I did.
So, how do you celebrate your own special Monday Moments, moments that are yours… all yours?!?! Let us know in the comments!
