I guess it’s National Chicken Day on the food blog, because I’ve got these cute little gals on my mind. I thought I’d post a follow up to my last Chicken Egg infographic. Here are a few adorable chickens for the kitchen – from the Kitchen Craft Chrome Plated Wire Large Chicken Basket 30cm x 25cm (above) to the beautiful Country Ceramic Mother Hen Cookie Jar Snack Canister (at the very bottom).

I have a copper chicken basket like the one shown above. My husband and I bought it for my mom years ago and each time I look at it, I remember how tickled she was that Christmas morning. She’s called Heaven home for over 8 years now, but I can still hear her laugh every time I see that chicken basket!
