Irish Himself and Herself Coffee Mugs (Love These!)

February 18, 2014 By Joi Sigers

Himself Irish Coffee Mug

I was, as I often am, on Amazon earlier. I’m one of those people who goes ALL OUT when it comes to decorating for holidays, special days, and seasons. For some reason, I don’t have an awful lot of St. Patrick’s Day decorations and Amazon was trying to help me sort that out.

Amazon’s so good to me.

One of the first things that made me say, “How can I NOT order that?!” was the Grasslands Road Celtic 10-Ounce “Himself” Irish Coffee Mug, Gift Boxed (above).

Naturally, I had to find out if there was a “Herself” mug and… BOOM!… there surely is (the Grasslands Road Celtic 10-Ounce “Herself” Irish Coffee Mug, Gift Boxed is pictured below).

I told you Amazon was good to me.

August 29, 2011 By Joi Sigers

Striped Coffee MugsI don’t just love these Tabletop Lifestyles Sedona 16-Ounce Mug, Set of 4, I think I might be a little obsessed with them.  You know just what a coffee freak and tea fanatic I am, and when the weather turns cool, I can out-drink anyone when it comes to hot chocolate.  So to say I have big plans for these beauties is a gross (gruesome even) understatement.

Product Features

  • Set of 4 mugs measuring approximately 3-3/4 by 5 by 5 inches and holding 16 ounces each
  • Resilient, glazed earthenware construction with rounded rims and generously sized handles
  • Hand-painted patterns depict richly colored horizontal stripes and neutral interiors
  • Microwaveable and dishwasher-safe; as seen on the hit TV show, Two and a Half Men
  • Coordinates attractively with corresponding pieces from the Sedona collection (sold separately)

See Tabletop Lifestyles Sedona 16-Ounce Mug, Set of 4 to take a closer look.  You’ll want to check out all of the other pieces in the gorgeous Sedona collection.  They’ve left me in a weakened state and I’m thisclose to needing a paper bag before I hyperventilate.

Beautiful Lenox Butterfly Meadow Mugs and Dishes

March 2, 2011 By Joi Sigers

Butterfly Mugs

I’ve madly loved butterflies for as long as I can remember.  I can’t explain it, and I have no idea where it stems from, but whenever I see a butterfly, I think, “Somewhere right now, a miracle is happening.”

I honestly don’t know when this association came about but I do know it was alive and well when I was in high school.  I loved butterfly earrings, necklaces, bracelets, notebooks, and so on.  Like now, I loved seeing so many “miracles” around me.  Who wouldn’t?

Truth be told, I don’t even care WHERE it came from, I just care where I can find my next butterfly.

The Lenox Butterfly Meadow Mugs, Set of 4 shown at the top of the post has provided me with the beautiful answer.

These mugs are just gorgeous and, for me, they’re a can’t miss – not only do I collect butterflies, I collect coffee mugs. Something else I love is how much they make you think of spring and summer – I’m more than a little ready for both, so that’s right up my alley.

Gorgeous Starbucks Global Mugs Would Make a Great Collection

January 18, 2009 By Joi Sigers

Nobody loves Starbucks like I love Starbucks – I’m totally comfortable with that claim. Not only do I frequent each of the three Starbucks in Owensboro (I like to spread the love), my kitchen echoes my sentiments. You can always find several bags of Starbucks coffee beans on the counter, Starbucks mugs in the cabinets, tumblers, and (of course) the full or half full coffee, tea, or latte that I’ve recently snagged.

I just found these gorgeous mugs online, at the Starbucks website – yes, I even stalk them online. It occurs to me that they’d make a great collection, so.. um, yeah… I’m going with that idea. Click through to see the rest of the gorgeous mugs they have. Starbucks is the reason, you know, that drinking coffee is so vogue, classy, and even sexy.

Gorgeous Coffee Mugs

March 9, 2007 By Joi Sigers

Pfaltzgraff Set of 4/20-oz. Sedona Mugs

Home Brewing Systems, like Keurig and Tassimo are huge right now.  Of course, you can get outrageously delicious coffee with your traditional coffee maker as well. You just have to make certain that you buy great… not just good… coffee beans.  Grinding your coffee beans at home, right before brewing your coffee makes a world of difference.

If you don’t own a coffee grinder right now, be sure to buy one right away.  Trust me, grinding your own coffee beans is the difference between passable coffee and perfect coffee. The coffee grinder I, personally, use is the Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill (CCM-16PC1). It’s the Cadillac of coffee grinders and I wouldn’t take anything for it.

I’m so passionate about coffee that one of the things I collect is coffee mugs.  Me? Run out of coffee mugs for company? NEVER!  My collection numbers in the hundreds and my company always gets a kick out of the beautiful mug they’ll be served with next.

The gorgeous Pfaltzgraff Set of 4/20-oz. Sedona Mugs shown above are from Cooking.com.  Well-made, beautiful, and highly unique, they’ll impress anyone and everyone who’s lucky enough to drink your coffee (freshly ground,)

From the website:
Sedona weaves together deep, hand-painted blues and reds in bold stripes and artistic geometric patterns evocative of fabrics and wall hangings from the America Southwest. Keeping the design fresh and contemporary, Sedona’s rich palette is infused with softer hues of dusty yellow, faded denim blue and pale green against a speckled cream background. Sedona is a complete tabletop collectoin including hand-painted dinnerware and serveware, art glass beverageware and accent pieces, entertaining accessories, and home decor items. The set includes 4 Mug-20oz.

Whether you use a Home Brewing System (like the ones shown above) or a traditional coffee maker, keep in mind that your coffee will only be as good as the brand you serve. Don’t cut corners when it comes to coffee! Buy the gourmet varieties and experience coffee the way it was meant to be experienced.
