The Quick Six Fix by Stuart O’Keefe
Another day, another cookbook review…. can you tell I’m more than just a little obsessed with cookbooks?
I just can’t help myself – not that I’ve really tried.
One of the newest cookbooks in my collection is Stuart O’Keefe’s The Quick Six Fix and I’m especially excited about it. This cookbook is all about saving time and simplifying with 100 deliciously creative, quick-and-easy recipes —using 6 ingredients, 6 minutes of prep, and 6 minutes of clean up. Make no mistake about it, this is a cookbook from celebrity chef Stuart O’Keeffe that you’ll want to order right away.
Personally I’m crazy about cookbooks like this because I know that each recipe is going to call for a small number of ingredients. Seriously, who wants to wander all over the kitchen rounding up dozens of ingredients – what’s worse, of course, is having to round them up in the grocery store. The correlation between the number of items in the cart and the number of dollar bills on the receipt is the stuff of nightmares.
On top of keeping things simple with ingredients, Chef O’Keefe keeps things simple with the prep and… are you sitting down…. clean up. That’s right, in the kitchen/out of the kitchen just got simpler – just in time for summer because who wants to spend all summer in front of a hot stove?!
