Eat. Feed. Love. Taste Club Box Review (April: Spring it On!)

May 2, 2016 By Joi Sigers

I may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. This costs you absolutely no extra money (of course), it simply allows me to maintain the lifestyle my cats are accustomed to!

Eat Feed Love Taste Club Box April
Eat. Feed. Love. Taste Club Box (April)
If you read my first Eat. Feed. Love Taste Club Box Review, you know how in love I am with this program.

If you haven’t read the review, I hope you’ll do so. I go into great detail about the wonderful mission behind Eat. Feed. Love. You’ll also learn more about the Taste Club Box program in the first review.  I hope you’ll go back and read it because it’s all about helping others while doing something kind of special for yourself (or for someone else, if you give the Taste Club Box as a gift).

How the Eat. Feed. Love Taste Club Works

From Eat Feed Love’s Website: Sign up for our taste club box and you’ll receive a delicious box of goodies delivered to your doorstep every month! Each box is packed full of hand-selected artisan products from all over the world, assembled by our genius kitchen team.  (Read More)

There are three choices:

  1. Sample Box ($22 monthly)
  2. Snack Box ($35 monthly)
  3. Pantry Box ($45 monthly)

Each comes with free shipping, which is huge. As in HUGE.  More importantly, each one comes with the chance to do something for others – to pay it forward.

Each box also comes with what can only be called “Christmas Morning Excitement” – when the box comes in the mail, you find yourself scurrying inside to dive into it. Opening each individual food item makes you feel like a kid on Christmas morning. It’s a foodie’s ultimate experience, truth be told.

Eat Feed Love Taste Club Box April Review

Dill Weed from Starlight Herb & Spice Co.

April’s Eat. Feed. Love Taste Club Box

April’s box included…

  • Lemon Mint Shrub
  • Sea Salt Caramel Taffy
  • Empire Bacon Mayo
  • Sicilian Capers
  • Dill Weed
  • BAIA Whole Durum Wheat Pasta

Click through each food item for more information.

Each Eat. Feed. Love. Taste Club Box also comes with a beautiful set of recipe cards that give you plenty of different ways to use that month’s special food items. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love these gorgeous recipe cards. While I could EASILY find uses for the specialty foods Eat. Feed. Love. sends in their boxes, the recipes provide extra creativity and deliciousness.

{Review Continued Below the Bacon Deviled Eggs!}

Bacon Deviled Eggs with Empire Bacon Mayo

Bacon Deviled Eggs with Empire Bacon Mayo

One of the recipes in this particular box was for Bacon Deviled Eggs (pictured below). I know, right? You can read more in my Empire Bacon Mayo Review. This stuff is amazing.

I’ve also used, and loved, the Dill Weed. Heck, I fell in love with the bottle, itself, before I even used the dill. It’s gorgeous. I’m ALL about spices and when they come in extra beautiful bottles or tins, it makes me flip out a little bit.

Okay, a lot. He’s a beauty.

Element Lemon Mint

Lemon Mint Shrub

I used the Lemon Mint Shrub, oddly enough, in a Shrimp Cocktail Sauce and it was dead-on perfect. I normally throw a little lemon juice in my recipe, but I was intrigued by using the Lemon Mint Shrub and it didn’t let me down.

The Lemon Mint Shrub is actually a perfect example of what makes the Eat. Feed. Love. Taste Club so fun. You get fun new ingredients and food – often things you’ve never even heard of, let alone used. Talk about keeping your cooking adventuresome and exciting!

The Sea Salt Caramel Taffy is delicious and disappeared quickly in this family of sweet teeth.

I cannot, personally, review the pasta (because I have to eat gluten free/wheat free for health reasons), but I gave it to a grateful daughter who promised to let me know all about it.

As for the capers, I have plans for them this week. I’ll write up a review and let you know how that goes. They also came in an especially beautiful bottle.  What can I say? Special presentations do it for me.

The Eat. Feed. Love. Taste Club would make a PERFECT gift idea for any cook or foodie – as would any of the individual foods. You can check out these, and more, food items in Eat. Feed. Love’s Shop.
